In 2018 Ukukhanya has plans to increase the number of courses that we offer. Ukukhanya has two main goals with the educational section.
The first goal is community education and with this we plan to provide members of our community with education and training that will make a difference in their lives. We hope to operate the following courses this year:
- Basic Parenting Training
- Basic Nutrition and Meal Preparation
- Conflict and Communication
- Abuse Awareness
These courses will either be free of charge, or will be offered as affordably as possible.
If you have a company willing to sponsor one of our training courses for the community please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we can happily talk about this. It may also be possible for us to conduct training for larger groups of employees, so if you have 10 or more people working in the same company that could benefit we can also arrange this.
This is our other goal and a way to really improve the accessibility of CPD accredited courses to our local Social Workers, Councellors and other parties.
We aim to operate training courses on the following:
- The Childrens Act
- HIV/AIDS Paederatric Training
- HIV/AIDS Awareness & Councelling (5-day course)
- 5-Day Lay-Councelling course
- Project Management of HIV/AIDS programs
- Abuse Awareness for Social Workers and Councellors etc.
- Parenting Plan Agreements
Recently we have been joined by Netti Craythorne who has extensive experience in designing and implementing training programs for HIV/AIDS, we aim to extend this training to as many people working in our area as possible in order to increase the knowledge of those working to improve our community.
We look forward to being able to offer these CPD accredited courses on a regular basis.
